Terms of Service
Last updated: February 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and DrillDeck, based in Sweden (“DrillDeck”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using DrillDeck (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1) What DrillDeck is
DrillDeck helps coaches create and organize sports drills and training sessions, and share sessions with others using read-only links.
We may update the Service over time (for example: change features, improve performance, fix bugs).
2) Who can use DrillDeck
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
DrillDeck is for coaches and staff. It is not intended for children to use on their own.
3) Your account
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Keep your password safe and don’t share it.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at contact@drilldeck.app.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.
4) Your content (drills, images, notes, sessions)
You can upload and create content in DrillDeck (“User Content”), including drill images/diagrams, notes, and session plans.
You own your User Content
You keep ownership of your User Content.
Permission for us to run the Service
You give DrillDeck permission to host, store, back up, process, and display your User Content only as needed to operate the Service, such as:
- showing your drills and sessions in the app,
- resizing/converting images for different screens,
- generating previews,
- providing a public read-only view for shared sessions.
This permission ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for:
- copies stored in backups (removed on a normal backup cycle), and
- content that others may have saved outside the Service (for example, screenshots).
You’re responsible for what you upload
You promise you have the rights to upload your User Content. Don’t upload content you don’t own or don’t have permission to use.
5) Shared session links are public
When you share a session, DrillDeck creates a public read-only link.
That means:
- Anyone with the link can view the session.
- Links can be forwarded.
- Search engines are not supposed to index these links, but we can’t guarantee they never will.
You are responsible for who you share links with and what you include in shared sessions.
We may disable a shared link if it violates these Terms or creates security/abuse risks.
6) Children and youth-focused considerations
DrillDeck is built for youth coaching, but we do not want personal data about kids in the Service.
Please do not upload or store:
- children’s names,
- contact details,
- medical information (injuries, diagnoses, medications),
- anything else that identifies a child.
Use anonymized labels instead (e.g., “Player A”, “Goalkeeper”, “Group 1”).
If we believe User Content includes personal data about minors, we may remove it and/or suspend the account to protect children’s privacy.
7) Acceptable Use
Please use DrillDeck responsibly. You agree not to:
- Break any laws or regulations.
- Upload content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory.
- Upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Upload malware or do anything that harms or disrupts the Service.
- Try to access other users’ accounts, content, or data without permission.
- Scrape/crawl the Service in a way that harms performance or violates these Terms.
- Reverse engineer or try to extract source code, except where the law explicitly allows it.
- Use the Service to collect or store personal data about children (see Section 6).
We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts if we believe there is abuse or a violation of these Terms.
8) Copyright complaints
We respect creators’ rights. If you believe something on DrillDeck infringes your copyright, you can report it.
How to report
Email contact@drilldeck.app with:
- where the content appears (link and/or screenshots),
- what work you believe is being infringed,
- your name and contact info,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized,
- a statement that your report is accurate and you’re the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
What we do
We may:
- remove or disable access to the content,
- contact the uploader (when appropriate),
- suspend repeat infringers.
Please don’t send false reports. If you knowingly report something incorrectly, you may be responsible for costs or damages caused by that report.
9) Safety and medical disclaimer
Sports carry risks. DrillDeck is a planning tool—not a medical or safety authority.
You understand and agree:
- DrillDeck does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- DrillDeck does not guarantee drills are safe, appropriate, or effective.
- You are responsible for evaluating drills and sessions for safety and suitability based on age, skill level, injuries, environment, equipment, supervision, and local rules.
- Always follow club policies and guidance from qualified professionals for injury management and return-to-play decisions.
- In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages related to how you use the Service.
10) Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription (“Paid Plan”).
Billing and renewal
- Paid Plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly).
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel in your account settings. After cancelling:
- you keep access until the end of your current billing period,
- your subscription won’t renew.
Price changes
If we change prices, we’ll give reasonable notice and the change will normally apply at your next renewal.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge. If payment remains unpaid, we may suspend Paid Plan features until payment is received.
11) Refund policy
We want this to be simple and fair.
A) 14-day right of withdrawal
If you’re a consumer in the EU/Sweden and you buy online, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
Because DrillDeck is a digital service that starts immediately after purchase, the withdrawal right can be affected depending on how the purchase is set up and what you consent to at checkout. So, we apply this rule:
- If you cancel within 14 days, we refund you either:
- fully, or
- minus a fair prorated amount for the time you had access,
depending on what the law requires for your specific situation.
(We’ll keep it reasonable and transparent.)
B) After 14 days
After the 14-day period:
- No refunds for partial months/years, except where required by law or if we choose to make an exception.
C) Practical “goodwill” exceptions
Even if we don’t have to, we may offer a refund or credit if:
- you can provide a reasonable reason,
- the Service had a major outage that prevented normal use for a meaningful period.
D) How refunds are issued
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe.
12) Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and analytics.
We use Google Analytics only where permitted and (where required) only after you give consent via our cookie settings.
13) Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may perform maintenance, update features, or suspend access temporarily for security or technical reasons.
14) “As-is” disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always meet your needs or that it will always be available.
Some countries don’t allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
16) Ending your use of the Service
You can stop using DrillDeck at any time. You can request account deletion at contact@drilldeck.app.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk/harm for others or the Service.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we’ll provide notice (for example, by email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
18) Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country say otherwise.
Disputes will be handled by the courts of Sweden.
